Kids in The Park turns five in July and our venues will be getting into the party spirit with special touches to their usual programs, plus there’s always a choice of activities absolutely free!

Kids in The Park is famous for its program of over 40 activities for your kids to choose from, including a great range of sports clinics, creative workshops and fun events. Keep them active, challenged and entertained with Sydney’s biggest and best activities program for school holiday fun!

We’re having a kid’s party to celebrate our birthday and you’re invited!

Why wait for January to play poolside when you and your kids can come to our ‘Summer in July’ indoor pool party at Splasher’s Water Playground. It’s always a comfy 26 degrees at Sydney’s biggest indoor water wonderland, with water slides, water jets and cannons, a huge dumping bucket, a bubble beach plus Sydney’s only river rapids ride!
Entry is free with an invitation downloaded from this website, and there'll be fun games, celebrities and a gift for every child. And if you bring a gold coin donation you’ll be supporting the children's charity Variety for their work with sick, disadvantaged or special needs kids.

Kids with an active imagination can get creative with words:

• Try the fun and inspiring Write your own book one-day workshop
• Or get right into writing with a 3-day Writing workshop for kids and teens
• And for Year 5 students, try the writing workshop to help prepare for the NSW 2010 Selective Schools Placement Test

   Playful Kids

Kids just want to have fun and Sydney Olympic Park offers so many green and healthy options to keep them happy:

• Visit the adventure-themed playground at Wentworth Common.
• Bicentennial Park is a firm favourite among Sydneysiders as an oasis of nature in the middle of the city.

• Try the wetlands and woodlands of Blaxland Riverside Park with plenty of green open spaces for games, all-weather walking and bike-riding.
